If the next character to die is Tricky, CLOWN KILLS YOU will not activate instead. However, the next character that dies may be revived immediately if they have spare forms. Doc may not be in battle for more than eight turns total until a character dies or the next Gym is beaten. Doc is now busy working on a project of his, but that just means he'll be closer at hand to all the stuff he needs if someone happens to die. Jeb may not be healed in battle until the next Gym is beaten. Jeb is infected with a computer virus that drains his abilities and stamina.

Neither is present: Tricky fights the rest of the team, but he's not really interested, you know? There is a 20% chance that one character, picked at random, will die. Hank is present: Tricky kills Hank, but he will join the team. Tricky may not revive using YOU DON'T KILL CLOWN if he is the one to die. One of them will die at random until the next Gym is beaten. Tricky and Hank are both present: Both of them fight each other. This event differs depending on which characters are on the team: > HANK! HAAAAAAAAAANK!! : Tricky wants to fight and he won't take no for an answer. You are no longer allowed to backtrack or run from wild battles until the next Gym is defeated. Improbability: The Improbability Drive is active, causing random and often highly detrimental events and roadblocks.
